Hi, everyone. I am Jaime, 21, and I am originally from Oviedo, in the north of Spain. I am currently doing a 1-year Management programme in LSE, London. I am a people person, very open-minded and with a deeply international spirit. I have visited more than 40 countries, living and attending school during different periods in Argentina, Egypt and the Philippines, besides Spain. After graduating in an American school in Manila, I started university in Madrid, before coming to London. I love meeting new people from different backgrounds and I am very passionate about learning and teaching languages. Some of my hobbies include playing sports, reading and watching movies. I am a nice, friendly, patient teacher who will try to help you in any way I can. I love talking to people and seeing my students progress. As someone who has been through the process of learning a new language many times, I have developed a good understanding of what works best and what doesn't and I will communicate all of that to you.

I strongly believe that the best, most effective and only way to learn a language is to speak it, so I will try to make you speak as much as possible, as this mental effort is the key to remembering things and acquiring fluency. We can have conversations about anything you want, making our conversations interesting and enjoyable to you. If you need it, I will also bring up new topics. I can give you material like videos or news articles for you to watch or read and then have a conversation about them. I have quite a deep understanding of grammar, both in English and Spanish, and I can answer your questions in that area, as well.

Jaime is an amazing tutor who loves learning languages himself. He has no trouble keeping a fun and interesting conversation going though numerous lessons. What is unique about his classes is that he types while having a conversation with me, so that at the end of the lesson, I am given a 3-page, personalized study guide that explains the mistakes I made, gives the new words I learned, and make suggestions about the best way of expressing myself.
