Hi, I’m Adrian and I am here to help you sound more native! I’m a linguist by training and got my degree focusing on phonetics and phonology, researching and writing about sounds, dialects, and language change. My specialty is accent reduction and I’ve helped people from all sorts of professions improve their accent. How's my accent? Watch my video for French, 1:09; Spanish, 1:15; Korean, 1:24; Russian, 1:32; and Polish, 1:39. Also: British RP, 2:15; London MLE, 2:28; and NYC, 2:44!

Professional and passionate educator • I study languages as a hobby and a profession • I research and analyze sound inventories to compare language's sound structures • I use simple words to describe complex concepts, e.g. how to articulate particular sounds • I'm also working on improving my accent in the languages I'm learning Research & development • I continually improve my teaching methods • I research, test, and create materials for my students • I've created customized lessons and syllabi for speakers of major languages such as Slavic, Romance, and Chinese languages, as well as for German, Japanese, and Korean • I innovate new methods to help students improve I want you to succeed!

Class structure • Accent classes are conducted with a shared document where I paste lesson materials • In conversation classes, I type new vocabulary and grammatical structures into the chatbox Lesson policy • I will wait up to 15 minutes for you if you are late. Otherwise the class is forfeit • No cancellations/rescheduling within 24 hrs of class time • Cancellations/rescheduling between 24-48 hour hours of class time are discouraged. Pls rebook ASAP so others can take your spot! Ready to learn? Improving your accent takes time, but it's doable, and I'll be there to help you on your journey! Let's make your accent amazing!

I am trying to do my best, I have to improve my pronunciation so much and Adrian is very supportive and helps me to achieve my goal. I have tried other pronunciation classes in italki and they do not have the methodology to teach pronunciation or accent reduction or the knowledge of phonetics . I highly recommend Adrian. Thanks Adrian for another productive lesson!!
