IMPORTANT: All lessons through Zoom. Also, message me before requesting a lesson. Requests without messages are rejected! Please include your current level of English and why you are interested in taking lessons. I'm a full-time, Cambridge University-certified English-language teacher from Chicago. I used to teach in Murmansk, Russia with students of all ages. Therefore, I know many of the difficulties that Russian speakers have with the English language. Still, I've worked with student from all over the world! I teach adults only.

I have been a teacher since 2014 and have worked in Russia as well. Therefore, I specialize in students whose native language is Russian, as I am familiar with common mistakes made by Russian speakers. However, I have worked with people from all over the world, from a doctor from South Korea, to an attorney from Brazil, and a fitness instructor from Israel. Also, I am very selective when it comes my students. I am looking for students who have long-term English learning goals. Therefore, if a student does not communicate with me before our first lesson, I will probably cancel the lesson. So make sure you contact me before, or immediately after, requesting a lesson if you are new.

Derslerim ve öğretme tarzım

There are two types of lessons that I provide. The first are structured lessons, which each student having a lesson made specifically for their needs. The purpose for these lessons is to help students with aspects of speech, grammar, pronunciation, and other issues that are specific to particular students. Homework and other practice exercises will be presented and graded so that the student can continue to improve and previous lessons. The second type of lesson I offer is conversational English, where the student practices fluency, and I correct any issues with language. Fluency can be both written and spoken practice. Also, as a published author, I can provide academic English lessons.

Dave is the most professional teacher I've met. He pays attention to my grammar ('cause I asked him about it) and gives feedbacks, also our classes are going in friendly relaxing atmosphere so I'm looking forward every scheduled class.
