Hej! Looking to relocate to the most "lagom" country in the world? Perhaps take a "fika" surrounded by the Swedish Grace? Maybe you're on the hunt for breathtaking nature scenery? An Ingmar Bergman, ABBA, or Avicii fan? There are endless reasons for visiting Sweden and learning Swedish, and I'm here to help you reach your Swedish goals, whatever they may be! My name is Felicia, I'm a Swedish - English bi-lingual native speaker, currently located in South Korea. I grew up in the multi-cultural city Malmö where I spent a lot of my free time volunteering as a Swedish teacher for refugees.

Öğretmen Olarak Ben

Having found love for language, culture, and teaching, I set off to Korea to work as an English tutor. Well here in Korea, I began studying Korean, but having never learned a language as an adult before, I struggled immensely. However, that all changed when I came across my tutor. With her help, I found joy in learning and started developing exponentially. Feeling grateful and inspired you now find me here on Italki, aiming to be as amazing of a tutor for Swedish learners, as my tutor has been for me.

Since I believe speaking to be both the fastest way to learn a language, as well as the most important language skill, my lessons will be focused on conversation (unless you have specific goals). Having diverse conversations about your interests in an encouraging, comfortable atmosphere, is my number one priority. I'm looking forward to seeing you!

This was my first lesson on italki and first time trying to speak Swedish. Felicia was so lovely and encouraging, my nerves soon disappeared! Began to feel more confident to more I tried to speak! Thanks so much, see you next lesson!
