From my 7-years teaching experience as well as my time as a student of Spanish, French and Portuguese, I have developed a learning philosophy which emphasises a balance between discipline and curiosity – to maintain routine, structure and consistency, whilst also searching for topics and ways of learning which stimulate interest and enjoyment.
As a guitar player, lyricist and avid reader, I have found that reading interesting stories and listening to podcasts and music is a marvellous way to maintain motivation because when you connect with a language emotionally, it strengthens your learning. For this reason, I see listening as the key quality for myself as a teacher to help my students. Derslerim ve öğretme tarzım
My methodology has 3 parts:
1. Give the routine and structure that allows the student to see and understand the path and its progress without getting lost, thus developing the student's independence. This also allows class time to be maximised for conversation.
2. Know the needs of the learner and identify throughout each class the biggest barriers to improving their English; making notes of the errors personalizing and specifying our practice in order to solve doubts and develop the student's skills.
3. Get to know the learner, their needs and interests, and in such a way find and share the resources that make learning English a more fun and interesting process and, therefore, easier.Öğretim materyallerim
