I am a TEFL certified English teacher with over 3 years of experiences tutoring individuals and groups. I currently work at a private language school teaching general English and IELTS exam preparation. My educational background is in foreign languages and English linguistics so I understand the struggles and joys of language learning. I am an enthusiastic, curious individual with a passion for life. I love to discuss a wide range of topics, including psychology, sociology, science, culture, and of course travel and languages. In my spare time you can find me learning new languages, taking photos, planning my next trip, and reading.

I became a teacher because I love to watch people grow. More than simply transmit linguistic knowledge, I hope to encourage, empower, and learn from my students in whatever way I can. I like to connect with my students on a personal level and I aim to build a virtual classroom based on mutual respect and shared interests. I'm friendly, extremely patient, and always try my best to help my students improve as much as possible. I will give you a lot of feedback during class so you can identify your strong and weak areas. I am good at explaining grammar in easy, relevant ways through example sentences and targeted practice.

I customize lessons as per each student's need. In the first lesson we will do a needs assessment. I always make sure you do lots of speaking in the lesson and that you're consistently making progress and meeting your goals. I use a variety of materials depending on the course, including videos, images, and articles.

I appreciate Jazmin because she is intelligent, enthusiastic and attentive. I think she is able to find the individual approach to everyone.
