I am very friendly when I teach, because this kind of approach helps students to learn a language faster. I do not like to say that teaching is a passive 1 to 1 (or 1 to "N") process, from A to B, since in communication there's a sender and a receiver...which means that it is an equal, continuous exchange of pieces of information between you and me.
I will never agree with those ones claiming that the teacher has only to act his or her monologue, while the students in the class take note of what the professor is saying. The teacher's duty is to understand the student's needs, and communication helps. So, at the question "what kind of teacher are you?", the answer lies here. Derslerim ve öğretme tarzım
HOW DO I WORK?
Considering the fact that I am a language tutor, and not an experienced teacher, my lessons will mainly focus on conversation. I accept people from every country with any language level (beginners, intermediate, advanced, bilingual). In my conversations we will talk about different things, such as breaking news, literature, cuisine, TV series, culture & traditions, curiosities on languages, hand-made stuff, photography and videomaking, journeys and so on. Also, I am giving you something to read, watch or listen to every time , and if you really want to improve your skills, then I'll assign you exercises (that we can correct together in the following lesson).Öğretim materyallerim

Interesting conversation about student life in Bari and what it means for Matera to be chosen as European City of Culture. Marco is a very enthusiastic teacher, and very easy to talk to. He is good at explaining the finer points of Italian, and encouraging a free flowing conversation.
