I am in my element in multilingual environments. I lived and taught in many different parts of the world. I spent 12 years in Asia, and I am currently between Spain and Portugal. As an experienced teacher and language learner, I understand that every student is different and I make my lessons to fit your needs and goals. My experience teaching and living in Asia (and my experience with the Japanese language) has given me a good understanding of the learning process of students who have a non-Latin language as their native language. My biggest reward as a teacher is witnessing how fast my students progress!

**55min lesson **Please respect my time and don´t ask me to reschedule a lesson less than 24 h before the start of the lesson. My lessons focus on communication and fluency and I like working with motivated students who have a goal and want to see a progression. I create a learning environment in which you feel comfortable to give the best of yourself. Rocio has taught my teenage son for over 3 months now, on a daily basis, 2 hours each day, and I can wholeheartedly recommend Rocio to anybody considering a spanish teacher, whatever the level. My son has started from complete beginner level and is now around A2. Rocio has been very methodical and structured her lessons very well. She is patient and she uses lots of different tools, incl audio recordings and online lessons and generally I feel her approach is very professional.

I always enjoy Rocio’s class. I have no stress because she helps me a lot, when I don’t understand, she explains in English. So I look forward having her lesson every week. Very good teacher!
