I am a patient and understanding teacher. I know it is hard to learn a second language as I also put my effort into learning English. As a teacher, I make sure to listen to my students. I completed a 120-hour teacher training program of Korean language for foreigners. And I started teaching Korean online since 2019. Students who learn Korean inspire me a lot. I really enjoy helping them with their Korean and achieving their goals. I think it is very important for students to speak Korean as much as possible during classes. So I will give them enough chances to speak and offer proper methods and corrections.

I have over 15 year-experience as a Korean and English teacher. I've been teaching Korean successfully from kids to adults and beginner to advanced level. I also give them homework and let them know how to study outside of class. Many Students who had lessons in person or on-line with me improved their Korean skills a lot. I am a certified professional teacher. I met and taught a lot of people since I have started teaching on italki. I know what kind of difficulties people from different countries have when they learn Korean. Especially in terms of pronunciation and intonation. I think pronunciation is one of the most important yet difficult parts. As I love singing I’m interested in pronunciation and vocalisation. I am very patient. During my lesson never be afraid of making mistakes. I can’t speak English well but it won’t be a problem with our communication. We will try together and it’s absolutely ok if you don’t understand everything now.

As a language teacher, I have to be explicit communication with my students in terms of interacting, stimulate cognitive and consistency. Before teaching Korean I taught English to Korean teenagers over 10 years in Seoul. I'm a TESOL qualified teacher. Just before coming to Milan, I got a degree and a certificate in teaching Korean to foreigners. Experience teaching English was helpful for me to teach Korean. In Milan, I taught Korean at Universita Della Terza eta. My first students were beginners without knowing the Korean alphabet. Most of all they were busy and could spend only one hour a week. But after one year they could read it and talk simple dialogue.
