My teaching style is relationship-oriented, thoroughly prepared, patient, and friendly. I pride myself in making sure students feel supported and encouraged during the educational relationship. My approach when working with students is highly attentive and customized. I use a personalized curriculum and thoroughly prepared teaching materials to accomplish this when working with students with various levels, motivations, and goals. Before the lesson she had me fill a form out to get to know me and my level of understanding in Korean. I’m definitely on the beginners level, so we started with the history of 한글 and sounded out the alphabet before moving forward. She came to the lesson with an entire PowerPoint personalized for me and made me feel very comfortable with speaking my broken Korean into existence (lol!).
I appreciate the time and effort she put into my lesson before it even happened, and I can’t wait to continue where we left off next week! :-)
