Teaching is a passion of mine and is something that I have been doing since I turned 18. I have taught in a variety of countries and different settings, however I have decided to make teaching online my focus due to the amazing flexibility it gives me. I would describe my teaching style as very interactive. I prefer to create a teaching environment that encourages critical thinking and elicits responses from my students rather than having them merely retain and repeat information. I make use of different websites and encourage my students to read to improve both vocabulary and fluency.

As a teacher I pay attention to personal goals and needs of every single student. My lessons are more conversational because I think that language is taught mainly (not only!) by speaking. I'll encourage you to speak from the very beginning. I am ready to discuss any topic which you like and help you to answer your inquiries. I like to use interactive materials and have fun with the language! I have been teaching English for 2 years in local language school so I have some experience in teaching both adults and children.

I developed a passion for learning foreign languages. I have been studying Polish and Ukrainian diligently for the past year and before that, I was learning German, Russian and even some Estonian! I have my feet in two worlds, the world of education and the world of business. I have two Master's degrees, one in Education-Teaching English as a Foreign Language and the other in Business Administration. I have taught English at two universities, a French school, many corporations and online. I have also worked in banking and finance. I particularly like online teaching since it is one-to-one and I get to know my students well. My specialties are conversation and Business English and English for Investors. My students are intermediate level or advanced. I do not teach children or teenagers.

I am a Canadian certified teacher. I also have my B.A in Linguistics as well as diplomas in Early Child Education and TESOL. I have been working in many different school settings including public/private schools and one on one/group tutoring.
