I really loved being an English teacher in Japan and continue to love teaching here on italki, helping people of all ages from all over the world become confident in the English language.
I am dedicated to supporting my students on their language journey and adapting my lessons to their specific needs. I am a true believer in learning natural English rather than robotic English that is taught in textbooks alone.
I understand that learning a new language can become boring and stressful, but I aim to make sure lessons are exciting, fun and enjoyable. I hope that my students look forward to their lessons with me. Minhas aulas e estilo de ensino
My lessons depend on my student. Each student learns differently and it is important to cater lessons to fit the particular style of the student. For example lessons with my students have included examination practice, vocabulary, grammar, articles, business English or discussion topics. I like my students to come out of their shell and feel confident in using English. In my lessons I usually focus on conversation practice, worksheets, pictures and flashcards.Meu material de ensino

This included understanding grammar principles, how to present yourself as a language teacher, lesson planning, student and teacher development, setting and achieving goals and teaching to group classes.

Do bacharelado - Animal Management, Health and WelfareStudying at Harper Adams University in Shropshire England, my studies focused on business management, disease, behaviour and welfare of farm and companion animals. Carrying out a placement year as part of my 4 year degree programme with Guide Dogs for the Blind Association. Graduating from university has strengthened my academic background after completely various assignments, papers, presentations and reports.

TeacherI have gained first-hand experience working in a teaching environment giving lessons to a variety of students ranging from 16-70 years old. During this time I have learnt the best practices for teaching English as a second language ensuring students walk away having enjoyed my lessons and built on their English language skill. Teaching 8 private and group lessons a day each lasting 55 minutes helping students with a range of abilities to improve their English.
