I have been teaching English for over 20 years, and Macedonian and Serbian for about 5 years. My classes are student centered, so my priority is to assess what the students need and what their learning style is. Once I find out what is important for the students, I tailor my lessons to them and personalize my instruction. I have been improving my teaching methods through years by attending seminars in different fields and trying to find the easiest possible way to help my students learn a foreign language effectively.I like being a teacher because at the same time I teach my students and learn from them as well. There is nothing more valuable for me than seeing a happy smile on the student's face after having some difficulties while learning a language and finally managing to overcome them.

I don't believe there is only one proper way of teaching and learning so my teaching is adaptive and imaginative. I encourage critical thinking in my classroom and create a supportive atmosphere where students feel comfortable to open up and practice their language skills. I believe that learning a language should be a fun and enjoyable adventure and an opportunity to learn not only different languages but also different cultures and traditions.

I have a Master degree in the English language and literature, with French being my second language, and I have amassed over six years of teaching experience. I have mostly been teaching online and working with people from different cultures, but I also have significant experience in teaching in actual brick-and-mortar schools. It is my belief that a language teacher does not only teach grammar and vocabulary, but also serves as a guide through culture and values of the people who speak that language. My understanding of English-speaking cultures helps me significantly while teaching English, and I cannot wait to present my own Serbian culture to students who want to learn our language.

I showed interest in languages when I was a kid, so I started learning English when I was 7 years old. Going on cruise ship improved and shaped my English skills. Additionally, traveling, and meeting people from different cultures helped me enhance my interpersonal and communicational skills, which I find to be very helpful in understanding different accents and mindsets.
