My goal is to help you speak English with confidence by improving your fluency. All classes are tailored to your specific needs, time, and interest. I use the Communicative Approach which is based on the idea that learning a language successfully comes through having to communicate real meaning. Hence, classes focus primarily on conversational English. In this approach, the objective is to present a topic in context to the learner as natural as possible as this is a highly effective way to help the language acquisition process. However, a grammatical syllabus forms the foundation of all lessons I teach and builds a framework to help learners acquire the English language.

Isn't it just annoying when you're talking to your teacher in English and you're thinking about grammar or just letting your thoughts out but you have a constant worry that your teacher isn't correcting you or worse, you know that you just made a mistake but your teacher just keeps starring at you smiling without saying anything. I know I hate it. It's a waste of time and money, In my class, I will ALWAYS correct you. Either by writing it down or interrupting to tell you how what you may have said was mispronounced, grammatically incorrect or that just didn't sound right. These corrections will also be included in an audio with every class but you must have SKYPE to get them.

I am a native speaker from the United States. I live in the state of Pennsylvania. I teach the following classes: Phonics, Speaking, Grammar, and Reading. You will find my phonics class helpful in pronouncing English words correctly.

I’ve been teaching English for over 11 years. When I got a Master's Degree in Teaching English in 2009, I started to work as an English teacher for adults & teens in Kyiv. In order to enhance my qualification and to be able to teach English worldwide, I successfully completed a CELTA course in August, 2017. Since then, I’ve been teaching people from different countries (Iran, Turkey, China, India & Chile). Now I've become Head Teacher and at my current position my responsibilities also include lesson planning, improving the syllabus of the school and observing other teachers in the classroom. On italki, I've taught students from ages 2 to 60, I taught beginners, intermediate, and highly advanced students. I've taught skills, grammar, and vocabulary lessons as well as specialized lessons like Business English, Travel English, English Literature and test preparation (IELTS, FCE, TOEFL). Outside of italki, I've taught beginner English speakers and tutoring intermediate English students. During my stay in Chile I helped teach students, ages 5-7, in the English as a Second Language program in my school as a volunteer. I also helped prepare young students, ages 10-18, for the First Certificate in English (FCE) after school.

I am a creative, friendly, highly skilled professional, with 19 years’ experience as a teacher, academic manager and teacher trainer. I have taught general English, academic and exam English, business English, and English for specific purposes like aviation, hospitality, sport and health, travel, social media, entertainment, and so on. I have taught students from age 4 to 94, and levels A0 to C2 – but I have special expertise in online and blended learning, fluency and pronunciation. Although I have built an extensive library of teaching materials, I always first establish exactly what my students need and create the most suitable materials, lessons and activities just for them.

I am a native speaker teacher though I began my teaching career in Poland, where I taught in a variety of environments including in-company classes. Teaching was intensive and I was leading conversation and exam classes from my first day working there. Since then I have been teaching in London and this experience has included multi-national groups, one-to-ones, conversation, and exam classes to students of all levels and ages.

Almost five years now, and perhaps 6000 hours of online teaching. I make liberal use of online materials, and I like englishclub.com, ABC Radio National, TED Wolfram Coursera EDX, and recently linguapress.com. My sessions are particularly free and subject to your wishes, needs and goals. I am equally happy to chit-chat, or address deep and troubling issues, to delve into science grammar technology. There is no set agenda, but I expect us to set up a basis for the coming sessions. Intermediate to advanced students only please.

I have been teaching from a very young age and outside paid teaching, I'm always translating things into Persian and vice versa for my family. I enjoy teaching and it has become second nature for me. I like it when you ask me a lot of questions as it shows you are engaging with the lesson and I will go to great lengths to explain something to you.

I am a very relaxed person and I believe that in order to be a good teacher, you need to make the lessons enjoyable and completely without stress. That means I do my best to be easy to talk to, I make sure that you feel comfortable and that lessons are always fun and entertaining. I don't judge at all and you never need to feel afraid to make mistakes when speaking to me. I believe that making mistakes and learning from them is a very important part of mastering a new language.
