My goal is to help you speak English with confidence by improving your fluency. All classes are tailored to your specific needs, time, and interest. I use the Communicative Approach which is based on the idea that learning a language successfully comes through having to communicate real meaning. Hence, classes focus primarily on conversational English. In this approach, the objective is to present a topic in context to the learner as natural as possible as this is a highly effective way to help the language acquisition process. However, a grammatical syllabus forms the foundation of all lessons I teach and builds a framework to help learners acquire the English language.

I have experience in teaching as I use to teach school kids around my locality. As a teacher am very friendly and encouraging and l teach in the student's best interest and cater to their personal needs. I have a stronghold in Hindi as it is my native language and can help with conversational Hindi along with grammar, pronunciation, and use to correct words. Other than this I have C2 level proficiency in English and Telugu. I encourage students to engage in regular conversations in the language they want to learn as it is the best way to learn a language. In Korea, I worked as a English tutor since as far as back -10 years ago. And I've been teaching Korean for about a year now. My whole life has been about learning languages. From a young age a grew up in a home speaking both English and Spanish. I taught myself Korean and Japanese at 13 years old! Later, in school I also studied Portuguese, French, and Italian! I have worked with various methods of language learning as a student and as a teacher. I do not believe students should be memorizing long lists of vocabulary or giving boring, repetitive and useless tasks because that has never worked for me. All of these experiences learning different languages, along with my education, has given me the chance to understand language in a very unique way and deliver effective classes that work for all students.

I've been teaching English professionally for 7+ years now. I am now a full-time online teacher and use the best technology to teach in the most efficient way possible. I used to teach English in Oxford to mainly adult students from beginners to advanced speakers. Before this, I worked at a tutoring centre in London. I have been teaching basic English and Mathematics to underprivileged kids in India. Being a daughter of two teachers, I have always had this inclination towards teaching all my life. I have taught at Greenwich College in Sydney for 5 years. I have taught General English pre intermediate, intermediate and upper intermediate and Cambridge. I also did speaking club, which was an optional 1 hr session for students to practise speaking. I’ve taught students privately of various levels. I absolutely love teaching as I’m passionate about helping people meet their goals and I love to learn about different cultures from all over the world. I’ve never actually wanted to become a teacher as my dad would try to push me into becoming one. But since I was a university student, I’ve tutored children and adults and over the years I noticed I actually enjoyed teaching. Now I love it!

I have been delivering one on one sessions online for around 6 years and I have learnt a lot of things from my students in that time. In particular, I am interested in offering students basic cultural knowledge and understanding, so that they may understand the references and tone of a conversation between native speakers. I also believe that in an increasingly integrated world, in which questions of politics, music, sport and culture happen on a global level, students should feel able to participate in those conversations. I am also keen on the art of error correction - when to correct and when not to correct.
