Learn Japanese with private Japanese teachers

I'm not a strict teacher. you can ask me anything and anytime.I've had experience teaching English to young kids for 2 years, so I believe I possess the proper skills for teaching languages. And also I study Japanese education at university currently. ＊Recently I've stopped teaching Japanese to children and now only teach to adults.

I love studying languages as well as teaching Japanese! I’ve been teaching Japanese to foreign students at public elementary schools since 2 years ago. I'm teaching Hiragana, Katakana, Kanji and basic grammar. Sometimes I also teach reading and writing. I have experiences of one-to-one and group lesson. I try to make my lessons friendly and creative, using original teaching materials. My pleasure as a Japanese teacher is that my students are more interested in Japanese language and our culture through my lessons.

I’ve been teaching Japanese for about 15 years. I teach from zero level up to Advanced　level. Especially I like teaching Beginners , conversation and writing. Since I’ve taught many students, I know where students feel difficulty in each level. So I think I can suggest the effective way of practicing. I always love to hear your suggestions or request to make our lesson more satisfying.

I taught my friends Japanese when I was in New York. Before becoming Japanese language teacher, I was a flight attendant and also have an experience of secretary. So, I can teach you Japanese for customer service and business Japanese.　 Also I have good handwriting. In Japan, if you write a beautiful handwriting, everyone praise you. I can give you some tips on how to construct Japanese characters such as Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji. If you want to become good at handwriting, please let me know. （you should choose skype if you want to learn calligraphy.)

I have been teaching Japanese for the past 4 years, and have helped my students at all levels - basic to advanced. My classes are usually conversation-based and customised to my students' language needs, whether it be grammar, idioms, vocabulary, or pronunciation. I have worked in a kindergarten, in customer service, and I was a publisher of a magazine. I have a lot of experience in ’teaching and talking’. I have lived in a foreign country and I have also studied other languages, so I can understand how you feel when you try to use a new language. My major at university was language education and Japanese linguistics, and learned to be a Japanese teacher. When I was a student, I tutored international students, and joined the Japanese teaching training program in Australia and taught Japanese at local school. After graduation, I moved to Singapore and had worked as a Japanese teacher for about 7 years until March 2020. I have taught Japanese from Basic to Advanced, N5 to N1 level there. I only used Japanese when I taught at school, but I taught Japanese in English for on-site training of other Japanese companies in Singapore and private lessons.

I am a fun-loving teacher that is unlikely to other very strict and boring Japanese teachers.
