My name is Yuriko. I am a native qualified Japanese teacher. I am originally from Saitama Pref., next to Tokyo and speak standard Japanese. I have been living in Hamamatsu in Shizuoka Pref.. Before I came to Hamamatsu, I had been living in London and Vienna for a total of 6 years. I have ever visited more than 20 countries. I like to communicate with foreign people and experience foreign cultures. I can speak English and German a bit. I love traveling, visiting historical sites, shopping, watching dramas and playing the flute.

Moi en tant que professeur

I’ve been teaching Japanese to foreign students at public elementary schools since 2 years ago. I'm teaching Hiragana, Katakana, Kanji and basic grammar. Sometimes I also teach reading and writing. I have experiences of one-to-one and group lesson. I try to make my lessons friendly and creative, using original teaching materials. My pleasure as a Japanese teacher is that my students are more interested in Japanese language and our culture through my lessons.

※ I basically speak in Japanese during my lessons as I would like you to get used to native Japanese sound. ※ It would be great if you take my lessons on ZOOM as I've already used it for my lesson before and got used to it.
