As a teacher I usually teach to my students the strategies that allowed me to speak three languages fluently. I learnt those strategies during the course of my life, looking out of the traditional academic schemes. I usually make the class a real conversation about the topics you prefer, in order to create the most relaxed environment possible, as if it was a talk with friends. Then, we will see together what we can improve about every areas of the language.

I am a fun, energetic and patient teacher. I am friendly and love to engage in different conversations. I believe that optimism and a positive attitude is the key to learning a language and that anything is possible if we work hard enough for it and have the right approach. I'm able to teach and explain vocabulary, idioms, phrasal verbs and grammar rules in both Korean and English.

Let's learn new vocabulary! Let's pretend we're at a restaurant or at a job interview or mountain climbing! Organised - If we learn new words today, I will find a way to bring them into conversation tomorrow! I am always keeping notes on your progress. Encouraging - I will always push you! If you're comfortable using the word 'tired' let's try using 'exhausted' or maybe an expression like 'burnt-out' or even current slang like 'dead!' As far as teaching goes. I have a TEFL (Teach English Foreign Language Qualification) and have been teaching English online since 2018 I’m best with teens and adults, but also competent with children from 8 years old and up.

I have a degree in English literature and an English language teaching qualification from CELTA. I have been teaching English for about three years, mostly online.

I have completed a Diploma in Educational Psychology and Teaching Skills for Educators with certification in TESOL and Working with Students with Special Needs. My style is more of a relaxed, informal approach. I will obviously have a structure to the lessons, but wish to adapt them according to what the student requires. As a teacher, I am very dynamic as I have taught several age groups over the years. I am, to some extent results-oriented and I work very hard to help my students achieve their language goals. Teaching has shaped my character and allowed me to see the world through the eyes of everyone student that has crossed paths with me.
