My name is Daniela, I was born in Chile and moved to Australia at a young age. My native languages are English and Spanish. I have been a professional teacher for a few years now and love what I do. I think it’s fascinating how languages shape our understanding of the world. I am very interested in Languages, Psychology and Art (which you can say it’s also a language in itself). I can speak nearly fluent German and am very keen to keep learning more languages in the future. Together with being an English teacher I’ve developed my passion for the arts, amongst them especially Painting, Singing and Dancing.

Moi en tant que professeur

My amateur background in Psychology has helped me in the classroom and the students are thrilled to see how easy and seemingly natural the transition can be: from your first steps as an intimidated language student to someone who thrives in said new language . Being multilingual is an incredible advantage. It’s not just about understanding the student’s native words or grammar, but rather the different way of thinking and the challenges presented by a new language and culture. I have taught students from all nationalities and ages, and I can easily identify where the difficulties are and what we need to work on together.

I can help you set up a plan that will keep you motivated and accountable for your progress. Different students learn differently, I will help you find the best way for you to learn and stay motivated. My students are always amazed at how much they are capable of and I am always proud of their progress. I am an approachable educator, I will be leading you on your journey while you discover how to exploit your full potential.
