Como profesor tengo experiencia no solo enseñando español como lengua extranjera en mi ciudad sino también en el extranjero, donde estuve trabajando en Rusia en la Universidad Estatal de Orenburg. Llevo en la enseñanza de mi idioma desde hace 8 años y ahora veo a Italki como una excelente oportunidad para llevar mis clases a más gente conectada a la red.

I have experience from three different Spanish schools in Medellín teaching Spanish to people from all around the world. Teaching is a family profession. Afterwards, I started working very young, and have continued teaching ever since for more than 22 years. So through my career I’ve gathered many certificates, diplomas and other documents including TOEFL Test preparation, First Certificate, Advanced Reading, Teaching by Competences, etc. Graduated with a minor in Human Resources, I’ve also studied ESL for business skills like job interviews, accounting, importing and exporting in North America, and customer service.

That can simply be done by watching, for example a YouTube channel on a topic you like and sharing it in class. I found my passion for teaching while in college when I quit my part-time job at a restaurant bussing tables. I followed the advice of a friend, who was a tutor, and started tutoring students for some extra cash. I tutored students in my major, which was Spanish, and eventually began helping English Language learners, as well. I found it to be such a rewarding experience; I loved it! I have worked with native speakers of Spanish, French, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, and Arabic and I have found that everyone has a unique perspective.
