Talking about me as a teacher, I have had experience teaching Spanish at my University. Giving tutoring to the students who come from the exchange program. I do focus on different topics like grammar, pronunciation, spelling and assertive communication workshops. On the other hand, each class will suit to your level and the intensity you require, always according to your needs. As I already said, we are going to work day by day, step by step in order to make you feel comfortable and sure to be able to advance in your learning.

I've been teaching for more than 3 years and I try to adapt my lessons to every student. I'm an ELE certified teacher so it doesn't matter if your goal is taking a Spanish test or just improving your communication skills, I'll be happy to help you. Therefore I'll use a wide range of different tools such as Google Docs, my favorite Spanish books, and podcasts, but mainly I'll use my imagination. Even though every lesson plan is unique, here you have a guide so you can have an idea of how are my lessons structured:

I have been teaching Spanish and ESL English for over 20 years at all levels. I specialize in teaching seniors, adults and teens. I hold a TESOL certification and have specialized in Theories of Second Language Acquisition, as well as, Lesson Design & Assessments from Arizona State University. I also hold a Masters Degree from Rutgers University (M.A.L.S. Culture & Arts) I tailor language lessons to students' specific needs (school, work, travel or pleasure), personal interests and learning style. Lessons are designed to progressively improve your listening and oral production competencies in creative ways. Grammar is learned along the way too. ***24 cancellation policy enforced***

As a professor, my main goal is to have my students engaged in class, that's why I try to get to know them and teach regarding their interests and needs, it doesn’t matter if they are beginners or advanced speakers. I aim for my students to be motivated in learning Spanish so they can have better progress outside or inside classes. Can't wait to see you in class and meet new students like you!

I decided to become a teacher when I was in the university, since I often studied with my classmates. I like to share my knowledge, and that's why I chose the teaching vocation. After I graduated, I did a teaching component and I had the opportunity to work in some educational institutions in Venezuela and other places. In this work, I also gained experience as an administrative assistant. In my teaching, I specialize in Spanish and drilling, two subjects that I have learned very well during my university studies and career.

I had experience as a particular english teacher as well as spanish teacher for people of different ages. I like to prepare my classes according to my clients goals using didactic material. He tenido experiencia como profesor particular enseñando tanto inglés como español a personas de diferentes edades. Me gusta preparar las clases de acuerdo a los objetivos de mis clientes y sobre todo utilizar material didáctico.

Mi labor como profesora es sencilla: intentar que los alumnos no se aburran como una ostra en clase y atender a sus necesidades para maximizar su aprendizaje. Para ello uso materiales visuales, modernos, atiendo a la motivación del estudiante, etc. La comunicación para mí es muy importante porque representa la realidad del uso del lenguaje, por lo tanto en mis clases ayudar a que los alumnos hablen de manera natural también es importante. Mis métodos y mi manera de enseñar se basan tanto en años de experiencia en la enseñanza internacional, como en la posesión de muchos cursos de enseñanza, varios títulos universitarios y un máster de enseñanza de español como segunda lengua.

When that happens, I ask them to call me Chris. Thus, I avoid a potential barrier that could interfere with the student's confidence in me. Finally, I look for being a friend of my students.

Soy hablante nativa del idioma Español y por ser de una ciudad de la costa, tengo mi acento muy marcado y muy fácil de entender. En el idioma inglés soy nivel C1 lo cual puede ayudar a entendernos, especialmente si estas en un nivel básico de Español. Lo mas importante para mi es que ames lo que haces pero mas aún que aprendas, por eso en mis clases pretendo mezclar conversaciones formales y una parte recreativa e interactiva. Por ejemplo: música, dibujos, videos, etc.

I am very patient, I can communicate with a good level of English, so that we do not have problems if you just start with Spanish. I will teach you through songs, so that you come out with a new playlist. and we can take a tour of Latin American music if it is of your interest. We can also discuss about books, movies and sports, learn a language as if we were children

As a teacher I tend to listen very well to my students according to what they want to achieve by learning the language and I use it as a method to have an excellent relationship between both parties and highlight my language teachings without difficulty.

Soy una persona a la cual les encantan los retos, eso significa que si tengo la oportunidad de impartirle docencia a una persona con un nivel muy bajo de español; veré eso como una oportunidad. Soy muy paciente y me gusta darles mucho ánimo a mis alumnos.

I started teaching in Argentina and continued in Spain and Portugal. Working at community centres I could teach to people with diverse backgrounds, which has been really enriching for me. Thanks to my studies and experience during my teaching years at secondary schools, I got an insight into grammar that I adapted to the specific area that means teaching a second language. I customize my lessons in order to keep up with your progress in a way that you consolidate what you have learned and in the meantime you find new challenges.

Se que aprender un idioma no es fácil por lo cual me considero una persona muy paciente, es por eso que tengo la capacidad de ayudarte con cualquier dificultad que tengas frente al idioma. Mi objetivo es mejorar tu español de una manera divertida, por medio de vídeos, películas lecturas o conversaciones y con esto puedas tener una mejor pronunciación y fluidez en el idioma.

A pesar del título de Tutor o Profesor, sigo siendo un aprendiz viniendo a aprender, como tú, por ello, si decides recibir la clase conmigo, aprendamos en conjunto, para cada vez ser mejor. Daré mi mejor esfuerzo para ayudarte a alcanzar tus objetivos, probando distintos métodos, hasta hallar el que más te permita mejorar. ¡Siempre hay que dar lo mejor y mejorar cada vez más!, y sobre todo, ¡disfrutar ese proceso!.

Mis clases consisten en pláticas informales. Por ejemplo: podemos discutir un tema, ya sea éste sobre música, cultura mexicana, libros, historia, etcétera, con el propósito de que aprendas un vocabulario específico de acuerdo a tus intereses y necesidades, o simplemente, dejar que fluya la conversación. Como profesora soy muy paciente, dedicada y motivo a los estudiantes a aprender cosas nuevas y a alcanzar los logros. Lo más destacado de mi clase es que siempre estoy corrigiendo errores en el instante en que los cometes, tanto gramaticales como de pronunciación. También fui y soy una estudiante de idiomas y por experiencia se que la mejor forma de aprender un idioma es practicándolo.
