I’ve been teaching foreign friends Korean, and it was lots of fun because they were so passionate and it’s very great to meet people who wanna know about Korean language and the culture. I can provide any types of lessons you want based on your level of skills, preference, and the like. For example, if you are a very beginner, then we can start from the Korean alphabets, how to read, write and pronounce. And we can also go through some tricky Korean grammar together. And also we can learn from K pop, K drama or K entertainment

I always try to be a supportive and attentive teacher. I help my students enjoy learning Korean and also achieving their goals. I communicate with my students not only in class but also out of my class to share useful information regarding Korean studying via mobile messenger app. It helps my students having more input of the target language.

I've been over a year since I taught Korean to learners who want to learn it. Also, the experience of teaching English learners is more than 7 years. From young students to adult learners, I taught with basic English and conversation. And the order of Korean and English grammar is the opposite. I taught English grammar according to the student's ability. It also led people from various nationalities to meet and study Korean from two years ago. I helped to study Korean, starting with consonants and vowels, and even TOPIK.

My teaching style is relationship-oriented, thoroughly prepared, patient, and friendly. I pride myself in making sure students feel supported and encouraged during the educational relationship. My approach when working with students is highly attentive and customized. I use a personalized curriculum and thoroughly prepared teaching materials to accomplish this when working with students with various levels, motivations, and goals. I believe through building trust and a sense of comfort when working with students, we create a space that is genuine and open, which allows students to bring their best ability and mindset to learn.

A Korean who grew up and lived in Korean speaks the Korean language well. Even if a Korean speaks the Korean language well, all of them are not good at teaching the language. The reason is that, speaking the language and teaching it is different. So, I think the teaching skill is very important for teachers. The reasons I will teach well is... 1) I am teaching my kids, Korean school, and Sejong Hakdang for many years. While I was teaching for many years, I learned how to teach a second language as Korean and English. 2) A good thing about me is I am good at teaching and I love my student. 3) I also know how it feels to learn a new language because I learned a second language English.

I majored in Teaching Korean as a foreign language. I taught the Korean language at top-tier universities for several years. Through these experiences, I can develop my teaching skills, figure out students' Korean level (beginner, intermediate and advanced followed by Korean language centre) and provide specific classes. I specialized in teaching all the level. If you want to build solid Korean language foundations, learn correct pronunciation and understand ambiguous expression & vocabulary, I will be the best option for you.

I was born and raised in Korea so you can learn accurate accent and pronunciation. I graduated from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and I can speak Korean and English. I got degree in 'Korean language as a foreign language' and now I'm teaching Korean in language institute. I have experienced teaching Korean to people all over the world who want to pass Korean exam, to understand K-drama lines, to do a business in Korea, to go to University in Korea and to live in Korea, etc. I met many students who have various level, from beginner to advanced. I have organized and participate in a language meet-up in Korea, which is called 'Language Cast Busan'. The participants were from all over the world. Most of them were interested in learning Korean. As an organizer and participant, I used to help the people in answering their questions regarding Korean.

My first teaching began in 2007 when I was in university as an English teacher for Korean SAT. I'm a life-long educator, and I've been teaching Korean to other language speakers ever since I lived in Canada. Thus, I am well-versed in delivering Korean as a foreign language. I personally taught Australian students when I lived in Australia for a year. They studied Korean for various reasons such as wanting to travel to Korea, being obssessed with K-Pop, having a Korean boyfriend/girlfriend and so on. So whatever your level is or whatever your interest is I'll be doing my best to make our class fun and valuable.

Just as how much I enjoy learning new languages, I do love to teach my native language to others as well. I have experience of setting up a Korean club in my college to teach students. I have taught not only the language itself but also the Korean culture and history; which helps us to understand the language better.

I helped my friends in many countries to learn Korean. And while studying English and Vietnamese, I found out what makes me feel difficult while studying language. I want to give practical help from this experience. I'll let you know what you're curious about.
