Learn Japanese with private Japanese teachers

I completed Japanese Teacher Training Course with this, I can easily share to you my learning that I got during the training. I know learning another language is not so easy but even its like that I will guide you in learning the language well. I have been a student myself that's why I can really understand students feeling. I can adjust to the students need. So, lets study, work hard together and have fun.

Nice to meet you, I’m Mamiko. I have over 5 years of professional experience teaching Japanese during ​which I've acquired the skill of adjusting to my students' learning style and the qualities of being an effective teacher. If you ask me, a student is like a plant. Giving them water and fertilizer helps them grow. This is my cup of tea. I am a very easy going and fun teacher. My main focus is to make everyone speaks Japanese confidently at their own level and navigate to advance level. I’ve been successfully navigating many non-Japanese speakers into confident Japanese speakers relatively in short time depending on the numbers of lessons. I assess student’s Japanese level very quickly including identifying their habitual way of expression and repeated patterns of verb conjugation and misuse of particles. I speak English fluently as a native so I can explain Japanese grammar and culture very well and answer to all of your questions.

日本語教師として、約6年働いています。 日本で会社にも4年勤めていました。 そして、海外で働きたいと思い、働きながら日本語教師の資格を取るために学校に通いました。 また、日本語教師試験にも合格しています。 I've been working in overseas as a Japanese language teacher over five years. I used to work in the office in Japan. I wanted to work abroad so took the classes to get the licence to teach Japanese in Japan. Beside, I passed the Japanese teacher exam in 2013.

I have experience teaching Japanese from primary school to high school age students. I am really patient and cheerful teacher. I really enjoy teaching Japanese language and Japanese culture. I especially focus on improving your speaking skills. So we can do lots of conversation practice in my lesson. I also can check your pronunciation and sentence construction. I don't have teaching experience, but I want to enjoy teaching. The student's time and fast improvement of language skills is important for me, so I think the result's of my future students will motivate me to teach.

I have business experience in the international sales of automotive related industry for 5 years, and other 2 years at the tourism industry as the tour guide. I commanded Japanese as the native speaker as well as a business person with broad experience in Japan. Combining all the background of businessman and Japanese cultural guide, I would like to teach not only Japanese language but with culture too. Please ask me anything in my lessons. I will be happy to answer and lead you through to like Japan and Japanese more.

I have a certified license for Japanese teacher, have taught English for four years. If you struggle with learning Japanese, I want to say that I really know what you feel because I have been struggling with leaning English. I have taught Japanese as a second language to hundreds of people in both group and private lessons of all ages, including high school students (The Victorian Certificate of Education in Australia). I’ve been teaching many years and so my text books have been well used especially the beginner ones. I also have a lot of experience in preparing students for JLPT exams from N5 to N1. I have always tried to provide a comfortable and encouraging environment in my class. I adapt the pace of progress to the students.

I have experience teaching people who are studying Japanese for the first time so please register for my class even if you do not speak any Japanese. I have taught formal Japanese classes to foreigners since 2015. The Japanese class I teach has 5 levels of ability and I mainly teach beginner to intermediate. Also I teach Japanese to foreign elementary school students a few times a week, and I tutor adults in Japanese, so I can teach anyone. I speak conversational English but I prefer to teach Japanese by immersion.

I've taught theatre and performing arts at the Japanese Culture Foundation in Sendai for over 12 years. My experience in supporting professionals and non-professionals helps me to teach Japanese to non-native speakers. I understand people want to communicate to explain themselves and to share feeling and ideas. I met people from various countries, and I know that each country has a different way of communicating with others. That’s why I would like to help you to understand Japanese not only as a language, but also a culture and a social context in a deep relationship with the language. I instruct students on how to construct grammatically correct sentences, proper pronunciation, pitch accent, and also improve student’s vocabulary. I welcome students of all levels. For our lessons, we can use a book called Genki, but if you don’t have one, it’s totally no problem. I like playing guitar, which means we can talk about music as well as many other topics.
