Teaching is my passion and I like to pass on my mother tongue and culture through teaching. I believe that understanding the motivation and needs of students is essential in establishing the methodology to be applied with each student. I can develop customized programs and learning plans based on the language of origin, age and needs. I always try to understand the reasons and implement the teaching methodology that adapts to the student's profile to accompany him in a spontaneous and simple learning.

At university, I studied three foreign languages and then I did a Master's in translation. Studying translation made me aware of the importance of knowing my native language perfectly and throught my foreign language(s) learning I tried many types of exercises. As I am experienced in learning a new language, I feel like I can now help other people with it and adapt myself to their requirements. I am a kind and open-minded person and am also available to speak Spanish with you if it's your native language and you don't feel very comfortable speaking English.

I’m a language learner addicted. I speak English, Spanish and I'm learning Swedish at the moment. Traveling to several countries, I had the luck to meet several polyglots who gave me precious advices to learn languages on my own and that’s what I’m doing for several years. My mission is to transfer my knowledge and my passion for the ones who want to learn Italian (my native language). Thanks to my Psychology- Pedagogy- Sociology studies background and my innate empathy, I will guide you to learn &/or improve this interesting and beautiful language, and... you will learn also gestures! (we have more than 60, did you know that? ;) )

I am very well organised and I am adaptable, I've always enjoyed working with various types of students with different motivations for learning: I centre my work on the needs and abilities of the students, my approach and methods adapt from time to time to the learning style and needs of the student, that's why the trial lesson is so important: to know each other and to plan the whole course. I always try to have fun during my lessons, because if I'm bored, the students are bored too. So I always propose new, interactive and attractive materials, I love using videos, songs, newspaper articles and multimedia applications for language learning.

In the last 6 years I thought Italian to hundreds of Chinese students. I taught in Hubei University of Technology, and in many private training centers around china. I am a certified Italian language teacher (CEDILS certification by University of Venice). I also just completed a Master Degree in Teaching Italian as a foreign language by University of Insubria. Besides I got a degree in Teaching Chinese as a foreign language too... I did my studies. I'm not a strict teacher, I just want to help you improve your italian without stress. I would like to make you talk fluently and teach you idiomatic expressions and correct your accent. Moreover, I think that being able to read and comprehend a text can be very useful if you want to travel to Italy. I don't focus on grammar (even if the grammar is always present when we talk and read)but I can help in case of doubts.

I graduated in Languages and Cultures of Asia (Hindi - Japanese) and I am specializing in Sciences of Religions. I have lived for 3 years in Leeds (UK) where I attended college and university! Parlo in francese, spagnolo e inglese e fornire spiegazioni grammaticali e colloquiali in queste lingue. Parlo anche un po' di Giapponese e Hindi. Mi piace coinvolgere gli studenti in attività che attraggano la loro attenzione e su argomenti molto vari in modo da poter spaziare su varie tematiche. Di fondamentale importanza è focalizzarsi sui punti di debolezza dell'alunno e fare in modo che diventino i loro cavalli di battaglia.

CLASSES All of the classes are made to help the Italian learner to improve his/her Italian skills (reading, listening, speaking, pronunciation and understanding/comprehension). I make each lesson to fit the needs, abilities and the learning level for each person. Each lesson is unique because the needs of each student are unique. With each lesson, the student will learn new words, new expressions/idioms , new phrasal verbs and grammar structures.

I have been studying foreign languages for many years, and I am still in this process. Teaching and learning are two sides of the same coin. You cannot teach if you are not open to learning every single day. I am currently studying to get CEDILS (Certificate to teach Italian to foreigners). I really LOVE TO SHARE MY KNOWLEDGE and I feel happy when my students progress. I will do my best to make you feel at ease and challenged. I will help you overcome some typical blocks we all have while learning a new language, such as the fear of making mistakes or the fear of speaking. I'm an emphatic, easy-going, and patient teacher. I have a PhD in International Studies and I know a lot about Neapolitan and Italian history, society and culture. I have experience both in academic teaching and private tutoring (I have been tutoring both children and teenagers from 9 to 18 years old and universitary students for years). I prefer an interactive and dynamic approach, to be discussed together with the student according to his/her level and his/her needs.
