My main focus with teaching is to give students confidence in speaking. My lessons are a safe place, where language can be explored as deeply as the students want. I love sharing cultural specifics, use texts as basis for discussions (in general but also in particular about new vocabulary and hard grammar) and tongue twisters for pronunciation. After the lesson the student should feel full and satisfied as if they just enjoyed a great meal. The new material needs to be digested, but already left a taste, so my students feel at bit of progress right away.

Außer meines Freiwilligenjahres in Russland habe ich auch während meines Auslandssemesters in Frankreich Deutsch und Englisch unterrichtet und Präsentationen über das österreichische Deutsch und unsere Dialekte gehalten.

As a tutor I try to adapt to the needs and interests of the students. I want to pick’em up where they’re standing language-wise. Besides being empathetic, patient, creative and flexible on content, I want the lessons to be fun! Especially regarding the preciseness and seriousness that the German language tends to represent, I think humor is a great tool to make it more accessible and easygoing. Another thing that makes learning German more fun, is to focus on topics that are relevant to the student. But having fun doesn't mean that success is secondary. My conversation practices are outcome-oriented according to the goal the student wants to achieve. We'll work on an audible improvement! :)

I already have experience teaching students and adults and have a lot of fun to get to know new people from lots of different places and converse with you about your interests, your opinions and your culture while teaching you German. I like to prepare classes individually for my students to keep the motivation going. As well I try to form a positive environment, so you feel comfortable.

I'm friendly and patient, willing to help anyone who want do study Russian, English, German or Greek.

Durch mein Studium habe ich viel Erfahrung im Unterrichten. Mir ist vor allem ein vielfältiger und abwechslungsreicher Unterricht sehr wichtig. Grazie al mio studio ho tanta esperienza nell'ambito dell'insegnamento. Per me è molto importante usare metodi diversi nelle mie lezioni per rendere il tutto più efficace e interessante. In my experience the biggest problem with learning a language is that the students think they need to get it perfectly right every time they say something. This stops you from talking freely, and makes you fal short of your full potential. In my lessons, I will encourage you to speak without being afraid of making mistakes. I offer different kinds of lessons, some follow a course structure, others are only focused on conversation. Of course it's also possible to mix a structural approach with free speaking.

I am a Community Tutor and My Lessons are targeted at intermediate to advanced Speakers. I am an Open Minded Person who's very engaging and empathetic in a Conversation. Learning a new Language can be difficult. I still try to argue fluent with my Dad in Italian. Currently im learning Japanese

For the past few years, I've been volunteering with young people in schools to improve their confidence with English. During my time in Germany, I worked for the Red Cross as a learning mentor for a young refugee where I provided English conversation practice and helped him with his schoolwork. My current long-term goal is to become a schoolteacher. As a language learner myself, I understand the difficulties and challenges with learning a language and will be able to help you regardless of how old you are.

I prefer to be a kind and relaxed teacher. I also support innovation. You can talk with me about any topics. It's up to you!

I believe in positive encouragement rather than harsh and strict learning methods! Language is a beautiful tool to speak to different people all over the world. Therefore it should be fun. If you enjoy doing something it is most likely that you will stick to the habit of practicing it. I just experienced it myself. When I learned Japanese I had a very kind teacher and thanks to his funny and encouraging teaching I fell in love with the language. Now, a few years later, I am fluent.

I have worked for Berlitz as a German and English teacher. I taught groups as well as invdividuals, in classrooms and online. Furthermore I am participating in some language exchange tandems and have some private students.

I like to set my students thinking and to see how a learning process progresses. I have already worked with people of all ages and noticed that not everyone learns the same way. But what has helped everyone is patience, attention, and trust from the teacher. Since I myself wasn't very satisfied with how my teachers, back at my school days, were teaching, my aim is doing it better.
