I like to teach in a fun, yet challenging way which really allows students to grow in confidence, and to maximise learning! I am aware that some students might not have easy access to good French study materials so I will be willing to share my textbooks with you. Throughout the years I have accumulated a wide array of materials for all levels and interests coming from all of the threemain French publishers Hachette, Cle and Didier. These will come in handy should your goal in taking the lessons be school or test preparation or if you are a linguistically minded person. I possess the experience and the materials necessary to help you prepare for DELF, DALF and TCF exams. For the Japanese classes I use Minnanonihongo I&II (みんなの日本語I&II) and Genki I&II (げんきI&II).

I think the best way to learn a language is to practice it, I mean to speak this language even if you make a lot of mistakes. So that's why I'm here because I believe that I can help you to improve your French speaking, I'm a very patient person ( thanks to medicine !), we could talk about any topic you want or we can choose one together and in the same time I'll correct your pronunciation. We can also practice other aspects of the language according to your needs and level, but remember, speaking is the most important. Besides if you're a medical student or a doctor who wants to learn Medical French because you're going to work with French doctors/patients you're in the right place!

I love teaching and transferring my knowledge. I have also some teaching experiences. Please feel comfortable when you are at the class. At formal lessons I work with various textbooks as well as with my own materials. We can focus mostly on communication and listening comprehension or choose a more general approach towards learning. At informal conversation classes I make you talk as much as possible asking you lots of questions and correcting you in the Skype chat or in a Google Docs file so that you're able to review everything on your own afterwards. I can also make extra voice recordings if asked.

I try to understand the student's rhythm. Years of teaching have shown me that simply applying a methodology where the student himself deduces the grammar of the target language, does not always work. I still find students who ask me for verb lists to be read and memorized! Therefore, I try to mix the current methodology, where the student, little by little, deduces, feeling the internal rule of the language, as well as a little repetition and exercises for the crystallization of the contents. I had experience with different ages, however, lately, I have been teaching more to an Asian audience, which made me rethink all teaching methods used until then.

Teaching has always been something I wanted to do, from my very childhood. I really started when I was in high school, I would give privates classes in every subject, then I got step by step specialised in French due to my language assistant job. This consists in going into classrooms of secundary students to help them and the teacher to improve their French. Besides, I studied with the Alliance Française (an institution that gives French classes all over the world) to complete my experience with theoric background.
