I specialise in Advanced business communication, including pronunciation, phonetics and language structure. I have designed, prepared and delivered workshops for both major businesses and private clients, covering negotiation and communication skills, Legal, Administration and Medical courses and helped many clients prepare for interviews, conferences, presentations and seminars. In each class there will be a lot of speaking practice and we will focus on the language that you need. I use the communication style of teaching English so I will correct your grammar and pronunciation as you talk.

I have had students from over 50 countries and I constantly help my best students achieve challenging goals, such as becoming Chevening scholars, getting band 8 in IELTS or passing the CPE exam. I help my students improve their English by focusing on speaking skills, effective communication and linguistic awareness. I am currently studying for a diploma in English teaching (DELTA) from Cambridge university and I intend to become an IELTS examiner in the near future.

As a learner of a language and as a teacher of English, I understand some of the struggles and successes of learning a new language. I think speaking is an important part of learning a new language so I’m excited to speak with you! Seeing my students improve and be able to communicate in a new language is exciting for me and for them. Sharing language knowledge and seeing a student progress forward is one of my main motivations as a teacher.

The main areas of teaching English as a foreign language that I have specialized in are General English, Business English, English for Academic Purposes, Critical Thinking and IELTS exam Preparation. Over the last several years, I have taught on numerous pre-sessional courses for students preparing to take a BA or MA degree in UK or Australian based universities. Over my teaching career, I have instructed students of various ages, nationalities and backgrounds and I have a lot of experience teaching learners on a one-to-one basis. In terms of credentials, I have gained a BA in Music, an MA in Education, and the English Language teaching qualifications of CELTA and DELTA.

Hello, I'm Bob and I'm from London. I live in Spain, where I've been teaching English for 15 years. I'm TEFL qualified and I've taught all levels, from complete beginners to Advanced. My teaching style is centred around you and your specific needs.

I have been teaching English since 1999 and shortly after obtained my CELTA (Cambridge English Language Teaching Accreditation) teaching qualification. I have taught in five different countries= the UK, Spain, Hungary, Vietnam and Malaysia; presently I am living in Budapest, Hungary. My motivation for teaching? There are two reasons why I enjoy teaching; firstly, the feeling of satisfaction when you have helped someone pass an examination, be successful in their career, a job interview or even learn a difficult piece of grammar. Secondly; I love the English language! I love thinking about it and considering the best way to teach it.

I’ve been teaching English for over 11 years. When I got a Master's Degree in Teaching English in 2009, I started to work as an English teacher for adults & teens in Kyiv. In order to enhance my qualification and to be able to teach English worldwide, I successfully completed a CELTA course in August, 2017. Since then, I’ve been teaching people from different countries (Iran, Turkey, China, India & Chile). Now I've become Head Teacher and at my current position my responsibilities also include lesson planning, improving the syllabus of the school and observing other teachers in the classroom. Besides teaching General & Business English, I prepare students for IELTS & TOEFL professionally.

Throughout my business career I've trained many people and have become well-practised in patiently coaching and developing staff. Also, having learnt languages myself, I've taken the same journey as my students, so I know the challenges! I apply all of this experience to my teaching. I learnt in the CELTA course to carefully stage lessons to suit my students' levels and abilities. I love to elicit answers from students by asking relevant questions, so my classes are stretching, yet carefully paced. I'm aware that learning English can be life-changing for many students and I approach each lesson professionally. However, I do have a sense of humour and my lessons are also fun!

I am patient and understanding and this is reflected in my teaching style. My students must feel comfortable and their confidence must be built up in order to become proficient speakers of English. My best quality as a teacher is the ability to recognise the individuals needs and plan my classes accordingly. Having previously taught people with no background in English whatsoever, to highly proficient speakers, my experience is notable! I adapt my lessons to the needs and interests of my learners while making my classes fun and engaging.

I am a TEFL certified English teacher, and Cambridge certified IELTS teacher, and have taught English to adults for over 10 years both in classrooms and online. I specialise preparing students for the IELTS exam. I teach intermediate to advanced students who want to take their English to the next level.

As a teacher I am very down to earth, and I like to talk about any wide range of subjects and develop a bond with my students to bring a positive environment that will help the progress of their language skills.

My aim is to help you build your confidence to speak, perfect your accuracy and fluency, and get into the spirit of the language. I'm able to utilise all my academic and business expertise to help you communicate more effectively and prepare for studying or working in English-speaking countries.  While I offer structured courses (A2-C1) and conversational practice, I mostly work with professionals from a variety of industries - medicine, pharmacology, marketing, social work, life sciences, engineering, human resources, finance and others - as well as college/university students. I also provide presentation skills and essay writing lessons to both native and non-native English speakers.

I have over one year experience working as an English Foreign Teacher in China and i also have over three years experience working as a tutor in University.

I don't believe there is only one proper way of teaching and learning so my teaching is adaptive and imaginative. I encourage critical thinking in my classroom and create a supportive atmosphere where students feel comfortable to open up and practice their language skills. I believe that learning a language should be a fun and enjoyable adventure and an opportunity to learn not only different languages but also different cultures and traditions.

I have a university degree in Education, we studied neuroscience, human development, linguistics and the art of teaching which makes me uniquely able to help you in your learning process. I speak Chinese Mandarin and I have spoke it for over 9 years. I understand what it's like to learn.

I have worked as a teacher for the past three years while developing my teaching skills through the completion of an MATESOL and enrolling in a doctoral degree in curriculum design and instruction. I have enjoyed working with a variety of ages, from children to adults. In addition to my master's degree, I also hold a teaching license from the state of Massachusetts (Grades 5-12) and have worked with the board of education in Japan for the past year. My top priority as an instructor is to see you grow, developing the skills you need to achieve your success.
