I am patient and understanding. I know that learning a new language or even perfecting a language can be difficult. I want to help you establish a reasonable goal and give you the self-confidence and skills to achieve this goal. Even if you are fluent in English, it is important to keep up with your skills by using it. I know this from personal experience. I can help you prepare for school or job interviews, small conversations to big conversations, and IELTS. I use a lot of different resources to help accommodate you and make the lesson easier. I focus on pronunciation, grammar, and I try to add new vocabulary every lesson. I hope to see you soon!

I have been teaching English in Asia, mostly Hong Kong, for over 12 years. I've taught all skill levels, and all ages from 4 years up, for a variety of purposes - General, Business, Exam preparation (IELTS, etc.), often in experiential (relevant, real-world) settings to enhance effectiveness of a holistic language teaching method. Not only have I taught hundreds (if not thousands) of students, I've also managed/worked with/trained other English teachers, so I have a wide-range of techniques for teaching, and understanding student difficulties.

I have been learning English for 14 years now. I often use it in daily life and on my travels, and I recently decided to have a go at teaching it. Learning English with me will be very simple, fun and creative. For me, it is important that my students leave my lessons feeling happy, enthusiastic and willing to learn more. My students are welcome to share about their culture and to exchange experiences and ideas. My goal is to adapt my teaching strategies to student needs.

I'm a very passionate and caring teacher. I've had the chance to teach students from different levels, ages and nationalities. I started teaching 3 years ago, since my freshman year in university to gain experience and confidence and I'm glad to realize that I have made progess in this field. About one year ago, as part of the mandatory internship, I took part in a programm where I taught Spanish to foreign students from all over the world, since then I enjoy sharing my language and culture.

I have also worked as a private English teacher for a multi-national company in a formal business office setting. I have also provided text corrections for magazines, and academic journals.

I have several years of experience teaching students from the ages 14-18, right up to retirees! I started teaching as part of my university degree, which resulted in me becoming a qualified English teacher in the Netherlands. I am able to use the aspects of my upbringing to my advantage when it comes to teaching English: I am able to understand what it takes to learn English as a foreign language, while also being able to share the subtleties of the language as a native speaker. During my first three years in China I taught at an International school in the south of China, and then at a training school, High school and IELTS training center in the north of China. Since 2014 I have been teaching English at a University, where I primarily teach English majors. Whilst being experienced at teaching at all levels. I have a preference for teaching older students and adults. I have a passion for ensuring the correct use of vocabulary and pronunciation to ensure a greater sense of accuracy and fluency when communicating in English.

I am easy going and patient. I will respect other's personal spaces as I know we might have different cultures and all.
