I am a TEFL qualified teacher but more importantly I am a native English speaker. If you want to speak authentic english i feel that it's definitely an advantage to learn from a native speaker such as myself. I want to help and guide you to learn all the correct english terminology with the current, up to date expressions or even slang if you wish. I can help improve your speaking, reading and writing though conversation practice, pronunciation exercises, structured grammar and vocabulary boosting. I have taught many face to face, 1 on 1 lessons with pupils from several nationalities and varying levels of english.

I am a Native English speaker and I love to talk to people from all walks of life. I recently received my TESOL certificate and I am also going to be receiving my TEFL certificate soon. I studied Accounting and Finance in the UK and worked in the Finance Sector for 4 years there before moving into Business Consulting. I also write and record my own music and perform at private and public events. My work with various charities has given me the platform to engage in a lot of public speaking. <Covering All Levels> I used to teach Korean and English to international exchange students when I was in university. I mainly taught them how to write 한글 ( Korean writing) and how to speak properly in various situations through videos, Korean songs, and some text books and study materials provided. Most of them were beginner's level and they could have improved their Korean skill so quickly. However, I also taught advanced level students and a student studying for TOPIK test. Hence, I can basically cover all levels. In addition, when I was in the US, I used to teach Korean to Korean American kids who were born and raised in the US.

I started teaching English because I had such a fun time learning other languages. I want to help others find the same joy learning English as I did learning Italian and German. In the last 5 years I have worked in remote areas of Australia both as a Renal Dialysis Nurse and as an English Tutor. I hold a Diploma in TESOL and used my expertise to tutor mature aged aboriginal women, assisting them in their studies. These women may have 1or 2 tribal languages and English may be their 3rd or 4th language. When home in Queensland, I host international students. My first student was a Chinese girl named Yoyo, undertaking her Masters, I assisted her with Conversational English, Australian idioms and slang. I have also hosted Punjabi and Indian students who are upgrading their nursing qualifications and assisted them with nursing terminology and conversational English.

I started my career as a private tutor and then taught English to teenagers at a private language school while working on my master’s. I then realized that I’d love to teach Russian as a foreign language too so I signed up for a special course at my alma mater. Then I taught English and Russian at a university and I also have experience of teaching corporate clients. At the moment I’m working at a language training centre and as a private teacher.

I graduated from Universidad de Concepcion, Chile. There I studied a B.A. in English Teaching, which also provided me a Teaching License. Two years after graduating I entered a post-graduate programme in Spanish Teaching as a Foreign Language. I worked for three years in Chile in universities and language schools, and from 2010 to 2016 I lived and worked in Moscow, Russia, There I was an English and Spanish teacher in language schools and a private tutor in both languages. In 2015 I started teaching online through a Russian agency that allowed me to change the way in which I taught my private lessons. I already have 3 years of experience teaching online, but only with Russian students.
