I like to build long-term relations with my students (some students stay with me for years, which I consider to be the best proof of their satisfaction). However, I also prepare for language exams (which is usually unfortunately shorter cooperation yet also a fruitful one). I also teach kids (I have the most experience with 10+).

My goal is not just to teach you Czech but also to show you how to learn it yourself. Don't expect a traditional teacher-student relationship. We will be working as a team and your Czech learning journey will be our shared project. You can expect a professional, yet very friendly, informal and encouraging environment. I’ll tailor the sessions to your needs and apply coaching principles (I am a certified Neurolanguage Coach®) while doing so. We’ll work as a team to define the right content of the sessions. As a result, I usually won't tell you what to do but rather help you understand what's best for you to do. Sounds like a small thing but believe me, it makes a huge difference.

I have taught a fair amount of people back in my school years, as a part-time job. I am patient, understanding and hardworking with quite the attention to detail.

I’m aware of the difficulties of speaking in French, English and Spanish, because I have had to overcome them myself. That is why in my course I'd like to focus on conversation. I know that it can be a challenge to speak to a native speaker, that’s why I’m going to adapt to each student's pace. My students are from all over the world and I love the connection and friendship that we make.

Jsem pozitivní a trpělivý, nebojím se pochválit pokrok a nikdy nekritizuji. Pokud uděláš chybu, nic se neděje. Pokud si všimnu, že ji děláš pravidelně, společně ji opravíme. Pomůžu ti s chybějícími slovíčky a zaznamenám je, aby ses je mohl doučit. Umím kromě češtiny i anglicky a německy, také trochu francouzsky a španělsky, takže nebude problém s dorozuměním. I am positive and patient, I will praise your progress and never criticize. If you make a mistake on regular basis, we will together correct it and I will note the missing vocabulary for you. Apart from Czech I speak fluently English and partly German, French and Spanish, so we will not have any problems to understand each other.

I also understand that there are some students that prefer to receive some explanation in their own languages, so that's why I speak English, Czech, Slovak, Russian and a bit of Portuguese, French and I'm doing my best to improve rapidly my German. After German I will keep learning some other languages to be able to help even more students around the world. Besides focusing on speaking I also prefer teaching in an organized way, that means by levels. So during our first class I check your level and I get informed about what you are looking for. And from there we plan what we´ll learn and how our classes will be organized, so you´ll always know during the months, in what level you are.

I have 2 years of experience in teaching English at language schools where I was teaching mostly adults and also as a private tutor for kids. I can teach grammar and also conversation. I am a native speaker of the Czech language so I may help you with practicing your conversation and answer some questions about grammar or pronunciation. But I do not teach grammar. Here on Italki I have been tutoring conversation in Czech for more than a year.
