I am an Italian native speaker with University qualifications gained in Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom. Being fluent in three languages, I have developed a strong ability to communicate with people from different age groups and backgrounds. My interest in linguistics has been gradually shaped throughout my life by all the different ways I have experienced languages: as a learner, translator, and teacher. However, it was the times I spent at University and living in Spain and the UK that made me fully understand that languages can be a means of conveying much more than just our thoughts.

As a teacher, I am warm, accessible, enthusiastic, caring, and approachable to students and everyone interested in knowing about different cultures and languages.

Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil

I work hard to create a fun and stimulating learning environment. Besides, I ensure that my lessons are varied and cater creatively for all learning styles and abilities. In maximising delivery and participation, I have made effective use of ICT in my teaching and assessment methods. I am competent in using a range of software and technology packages, not to mention additional didactic material that I produce and make available to pupils on dedicated virtual platforms.
