I’m a firm believer in letting conversation flow. I generally leave any remarks or pointers I have for my students for later on in the lesson. This ensures that I don’t interject a flowing conversation. I assume that everyone is a beginner in my class, therefore I’ll teach you the basics. I speak 5 South African languages so I understand the patience required to learn a new language. Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil
My lessons will range from basic conversation you would have with a native speaker to an informative Zulu history lesson. I believe that learning a language is quicker when you speak to a native person therefore we’ll be having a lot of conversations. I’ll repeat everything I say in English thus ensuring that everyone understands the meaning of the Zulu phrase I said. With each lesson, we’ll gradually drop the amount of English we speak until we can have a full conversation in isiZulu. I’ll also play videos where our culture is practiced and then I’ll explain each and every aspect of my it.
