Hi! I’m Anna and I’m from Russia. I have been living in Germany for 4 years. I’m an opera singer and conductor. CurrentIy, I'm in a master's program at The High School of Music in Dresden. Among my friends, there are a lot of internationals with whom I have to communicate either in English or in German. Being in an international community changes my and helps me to look at the world around from a much wider perspective. In a free time, I enjoy reading books, watching series, and traveling. Another my passion apart from music is my blog, where I try to represent Germany from a foreigner's view.

Ich als Lehrkraft

Well, I came to the idea to try myself in iTalki, because I'd like to share my experience coming from zero to fluent in a short time. I do appreciate grammar and standard lessons that i had to pass through as well, but what really made me confident about my German was just many hours of talking with people.

Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil

On my lessons, I try to follow a rule of one language. It means that we will try to talk only on German or Russian, which can switch your mind to a foreign language. Starting from a "small talk", we end with a discussion on a chosen topic, where we practice a specific vocabulary and grammatical constructions. These topics can be prearranged according to student's interests.
