Hello there! I am an ESL teacher from Wales, UK and I have 3 years of experience teaching adults online. I live in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, but have also lived in the UK, Canada and France. I love to get to know different cultures, languages and people. I graduated in neuroscience and have worked in several laboratories. In the future, I hope to do a master's degree in developmental disorders. I also love to dance bachata, to surf and learning languages, so I love to talk about anything and everything!

I consider myself a patient and kind teacher. I know how scary it can be to speak a new language, and fear of making mistakes is often what stops us from progressing. I do my best to create a relaxed, nurturing and comfortable environment where my students can develop their confidence in speaking English.

Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil

My lessons will centre around you, the student. Whether you have a particular topic you would like to discuss, a tough grammar point you would like to practice, or even if you would just like to have a friendly conversation- I'm here to help. I have experience teaching all ages and levels, but I specialise in teaching intermediate and advanced adults. I use a range of engaging materials in my lessons, and encourage you to talk about diverse and thought-provoking topics. Together, we can practice specialised vocabulary, complex grammar points and the use of idiomatic language. I can also give small assignments to complete at home.
