My name is Marcus and I enjoy teaching German. I studied German linguistics and philosopy at the university and have a background as language learner. I am interested in things as politics, history, music, martial arts, literature, films, comics/anime and technology. Ich heiße Marcus und liebe es, Deutsch zu unterrichten. Ich habe Germanistik und Philosophie studiert und einen Hintergrund im Fremdsprachenlernen. Ich interessiere mich unter anderem für Politik, Geschichte, Musik, Kampfsport, Literatur, Filme, Comics/Anime und Technologie.

Ich als Lehrkraft

For me it's important to make sure that my students are confident in their skills to build upon them. Language learning often is hard and time consuming. So I want to make it as fun as possible by using media and motivate students by showing them what they have achieved so far using practical examples. Es ist mir wichtig, sicherzugehe, dass meine Schüler sicher in ihren Fertigkeiten sind, um darauf aufzubauen. Eine Sprache zu lernen ist oftmals schwierig und zeitintensiv. Daher möchte ich ihnen es so angenehm wie möglich machen, indem ich verschiedene Medien nutze und sie dahingehend motivere, dass ich ihnen anhand von praktischen Beispielen zeige, was sie bereits erreicht haben.

Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil

I would like to know what to talk about / what to practise (grammar points, topics, vocabulary, exams) in order to prepare and offer the best experience. We would speak as much German as possible to make my students confident. For explanations I switch to another language, to ensure that these have been understood. If you want to work with your textbooks, please prepare a photograph, if you want to use media, please send me the link in advance. For a better experience I encourage my students to use cloud documents like Google Docs where be can work together at the same time to make notes, corrections, find alternative ways to say things etc.

I really like Marcus' "Analyzing Media" course. We are in the process of reading an article together, and he provides useful explanations for new vocabulary in the text as well as for grammatical structures employed (including written comments). We are also finding time to discuss the ideas expressed in the article, which is useful for German learners like me trying to improve their spoken communication. Empfehlenswert!

Seguo il programma "you are not alone". L'insegnante è molto preparato e ha un'ottima conoscenza dell'italiano. Durante la settimana studio da sola, lui mi assegna un tema da scrivere e/o degli esercizi che poi correggiamo a lezione. Dai miei errori crea una lezione e scioglie ogni dubbio.Lo consiglio a tutti e in particolare agli italiani che vogliono imparare il tedesco da un madrelingua.
