Über mich
italki-Lehrkraft seit 25. Feb 2020
Describing oneself is never an easy task, but if I had to do so I would probably say that I'm the kind of person who's always coming up with crazy ideas and loves trying new things out. I'm also very spontaneous and really passionate about languages.
I'm grateful for having had the opportunity to be in touch with two different cultures as a kid, and that not only gave me a much better understanding of how communication works but also gave the ability to switch from one language to another. In other words, being literally able to think in a different language. Of course this could take some time, but with constant practice and the right set of tools it can totally be learned.
Ich als Lehrkraft
Learning a new language not only requires patience, but also the ability to keep oneself motivated and that's why I'll always encourage you to find new ways to relate to the language you're learning. That can simply be done by watching, for example a YouTube channel on a topic you like and sharing it in class.
Searching for content in a different language can be tricky since most times you'll see yourself struggling to find the perfect balance between those that meet your language level and the topics you're interested in at the same time, so here's where I'll help the most.
Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil
Our classes will be focused on conversation and you'll learn new grammar and vocabulary as we move on to new topics and more complex ways to express ideas. On our first class we'll have a casual talk to get to know each other and evaluate your knowledge on the language.
