Hello, I am Teacher Jasmin and help you to learn and improve your German language skills. My passion for languages has started at the University of Mainz where I studied German language and literature. During this time I studied a term abroad at the University of Leeds (United Kingdom). After I had graduated I moved to Barcelona (Spain) and did my master's degree in Applied Linguistics and Language Acquisition in a multilingual Context. At this point I have started to teach German to my colleagues and taught in tandem with one of my best friends from China. In my free time I enjoy going out and spending time in the nature.

Ich als Lehrkraft

As your teacher I am like your friend who helps you with your language acquisition wherever you need support. You can talk to me about your individual problems with learning German and we will work on it together. I am not just passionate but also patient and do understand the struggles that can come with learning a foreign language. You will see as soon as you have a friendly helping hand who gives you the extra portion input, your language skills will improve rapidly. Be sure, I got your back!

Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil

I teach German in all levels (A1-C2) with focus on your communication skills and based on the latest findings in the language learning research. In my teaching lessons I use the immersion method so that you get the most out of your classes. I want you to be an active speaker in my lessons which is why you will do at least 60% of the speaking during the session. But don't worry, we can have little grammar sessions in between to make sure you have internalized rules where they are helpful. I would love to hear what you want to work or focus on in order to create personal German lessons which fit your individual needs. You don't want to learn alone? Let's have group lessons with your friend!
