I've been teaching for over 5 years. I started my teaching life teaching young learners, teenagers. Before moving onto young Adult learners, mostly at university who have more stringent learning goals, and now I teach working professionals. Where I teach a variety of different classes but mostly focusing on Business English. I have taught all people from staff all the way up to the C-level.
I am a holder of both CELTA (Certificate English Language Teaching for Adults) as well as TKT-YL (Teacher Knowledge Test Young Learners). Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil
My English course includes video content from the BBC that involves students.
The course follows a balanced approach to topics, language development and job skills. Speech activities are very prominent, but not at the expense of other core skills in reading, writing and listening, which are developed systematically in all fields.
I encourage students to talk and write about their own experiences to help them as they practice.
Clear goals at each step help students focus on what they are going to achieve so they can see how they are improving.
