Sato is an amazing teacher! He is able to guide you effortlessly through the lesson, and still be very enjoyable. I have managed to learn a lot within just 5 lessons and look forward to the next one in the week! The time just flies, and you retain a lot through his teaching style. He is also available throughout the whole day, so he can answer any questions you may have, out of lesson time. I would highly recommend Sato, he is an exceptional teacher. ありがとうございました!

A really enjoyable lesson, although I was tired Sato made the lesson really engaging :) We spoke quite a lot about different subjects including some crafts and history about Japan and Asia. We then looked at my homework which was generally correct and looked at figurative speech in Japanese :) Thank you for the lesson Sato!

Sato San has instilled in me the power of 復習(ふくしゅう-review)! My first couple of months of learning were frustrating. I put alot of effort in studying all types of materials Youtube, premade Anki decks, Apps of all kinds, and weekly Italki lessons- with poor results. I asked an important question one day- "What is the fastest you've ever seen a student learn basic Japanese?" His answer was a shocking 6 months. Even more shocking is that student studied no other materials other than what was covered weekly with Sato San. I changed my study habits to focus on nothing other than reviewing the curriculum. We are now learning at a very fast pace and I am enjoying classes much more. Being able to understand basic questions and respond in Japanese is satisfying and addictive. I review using 3 easy steps. -I make flash cards (Anki) from the information on our google docs and review daily. -I record audio from lessons and listen to them on my commute to work. -Work on assigned homework.

I enjoyed talking to Sato 先生 today! Always helping me properly form my Japanese sentences and get that idea out! Also very helpful for breaking down the reading comprehension of JLPT N1 and going over the meaning + vocab~~
