I have taught at Greenwich College in Sydney for 5 years. I have taught General English pre intermediate, intermediate and upper intermediate and Cambridge. I also did speaking club, which was an optional 1 hr session for students to practise speaking. I’ve taught students privately of various levels. I absolutely love teaching as I’m passionate about helping people meet their goals and I love to learn about different cultures from all over the world. I’ve never actually wanted to become a teacher as my dad would try to push me into becoming one. But since I was a university student, I’ve tutored children and adults and over the years I noticed I actually enjoyed teaching. Now I love it! Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil
Topics I have covered are job and places, people (character and appearance, life styles, city and country, the environment, holidays, climate and weather, transport, shopping, clothes and accessories, celebrations, festivals and events, places to eat, food and drinks, sports and accidents and injuries.
My teaching method will involve getting to know one another and to find out what the student needs and wants are and how best they retain information. For example some of my students are visual learners so I would use a lot of images.
Everybody learns at a different pace and I’ll cater to the students’ learning speed.
