Thuy is AMAZING!!! I am a total beginner and she started me with sounds and the Vietnamese Alphabet. Even though I know absolutely nothing, she was persistant and kind with me until I got it and she was helpful when I asked her to repeat so that I could get it. I thought it would be so hard but she made it easy. She cares about her students and has a great method. Thank you Thuy! :)

This was my first lesson with Thuy. We had a very interesting conversation and she was very easy to understand. She enunciates very well, so if anybody is having a hard time with understanding Vietnamese, understanding Thuy should be easy. Thanks!

Hôm này tôi đã có một cuộc trò chuyện rất thú vị với cô Thủy, chủ yếu là về tập đoàn Vingroup và hệ thống giáo dục ở Việt Nam. Cô Thủy đã giải thích giúp tôi một số từ có nghĩa na ná nhau, như "phát triển - cải thiện - cải tiến." Cô phân biệt chúng một cách thật chi tiết. Từ nào tôi không nghe rõ thì cô viết cho. Tôi học được rất nhiều thứ từ cô. We had an interesting conversation today, especially about Vingroup and educational system in Vietnam. (The topic was not fixed, depending on my interest). Cô Thủy helped point out the differences between several words that have similar meanings. The explanation was very detailed. She wrote downs words on screen when I couldn't hear the words clearly. I learned a lot from her today.

Thank you for the 1st lesson. I practice the pronunciation. It is still impossible for me to make conversation with the Vietnamese, my text shows some good example sentences for beginner, please try to ask me or let me speak with the easy expressions.

She taught me about a lot of really compelling and lesser known traditions of Vietnamese culture. Stuff that doesn't get as much attention but it is still extremely rich and interesting.
