Ciao a tutti! My name is Michela, I'm 26 years old, I was born and raised in Venice but I live in London, UK where I teach Italian and English in my free time, and work my 9-5 in Merchandising for a big corporation. I have over TWO YEARS experience in teaching languages!! I started studying foreign languages at an academic level at the age of 10, and I haven't finished yet! Because of my experiences as a learner, I am fully aware of all the challenges and difficulties involved in the journey of learning a foreign language at all levels, from the basics to conversation, all the way to academic and business fluency.

Besides the linguistic component, I am passionate about sharing the cultural aspect too. --> BA(Hons) in Fashion Buying and Merchandising at Manchester Metropolitan University. First Class Honours degree, class of 2018. --> Italian: Native. English: Bilingual (IELTS certificate). Spanish: Informal fluency --> Professional dance teacher and peer educator Learning a new language has a strong emotional involvement. Connecting on a personal level is a priority in my teaching method.

I have been studying Italian with Michaela for a few months now. Every lesson is different - we do text comprehension, speaking exercises, vocabulary and grammar. When you do all these tasks it is a very nice feeling to have in front of you a teacher who understands you, helps you and is at the same time intelligent and funny. I like the lessons with Michaela so much that I even had one on my birthday, just because I know that after the lesson I will feel great and I will continue my day with a smile.
