I have taught Japanese language to many foreign students for years. Besides, I have also taught Chinese to my Japanese colleagues in Japan. Therefore, I know the effective way to teach and how important the two-way teaching is.

The lesson began with me reading and translating a Japanese newspaper into English to improve my reading and knowledge of kanji; Hiro San explained the meaning of any words I was unsure of. Then I completed 練習B and the conversation.

I completed the conversation with Hiro san from lesson 33 then he tested how well I memorised the vocabulary from lesson 34 by saying the meaning then I would respond in Japanese. Hiro explained the grammar techniques from lesson 34 and the most common situations they are used in.
