Über mich
italki-Lehrkraft seit 8. Nov 2019
My name is Francesca and I am a certified Italian teacher. I started teaching in Italy in 2012 and I continued in several countries in the world including Canada, where I taught from 2016 to 2019 at the Italian Cultural Center of Vancouver. I hold a degree in archaeology, and I have also a DITALS qualification, which means that I have been accredited by University of Siena to teach Italian as a second language. I'm currently living in Melbourne and I hope to have the opportunity to work as a teacher also in this incredible city.
Ich als Lehrkraft
My teaching style is based on communication. We discuss together goals, frequency, duration and contents. I shape my lessons to the level and the requirements of each person, in order to make the learning process quick, deep and, at the same time, interesting and fun.
I love talking about different topics and sharing opinions. I always try to create a relax atmosphere in which you can feel comfortable.
Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil
I usually develop customized courses based on needs and interests. Therefore, the courses can be very different, more focused on grammar or conversation. In general, I diversify the teaching techniques as much as possible and propose activities and games in the perspective of doing and playing learning, which I consider very valid teaching methods
When Francesca explains points of grammar it all becomes easy! She is clear and logical and gives lots of examples. She’s also a lot of fun to chat with!
