Ich als Lehrkraft
I have always been a coach.
I started in music;
I'm a Professional Drummer with 20 years experience.
For a while I was teaching drums while touring and recording.
I moved onto sports;
I'm a fully qualified Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor, Nutrition Advisor and Sports Coach.
Now that I live in a foreign country and am learning Portuguese, I'm using all of my coaching experience - social skills, motivational and conversational abilities to help Language Learners like you.
I have always motivated people to make smarter decisions and reach their goals.

As my student, you are the most important person and I make sure all of my lessons suit your personality, knowledge and style.
I use the first conversation to find out your strengths, interests, development areas and your own personal motivation for learning English.
From here, we can focus in on what needs more work as we move into the future and reach your goals.
My teaching style focuses on making the student feel comfortable talking with me. I emphasise that students need to try and speak as much as possible. The more you speak, the more I can correct and give suggestions on how you can improve.

Our first lesson was very nice, we talked about interesting topics. We went through a variety of activities that improve conversation, vocabulary and reading skills. Matt is very kind and friendly. I would highly recommend him for anyone who are interested in learning English.
