Teaching is my passion, and I adore my job. I know that the power of the teacher-student relationship is fantastic! :)
A conversation is an essential part of my lessons. I always use Google documents in classes, so you can follow what I write, and I can follow what you write. After our lessons, I put the new vocabulary there, grammar notes, and homework, and you write the homework there also. In the next lesson, before talking about homework, I always check the new vocabulary. What I put into Google doc - I expect you to know next time. :)
What else? Ah, mistakes. Mistakes are the best way to learn; that's why I always let my students find their mistakes. :) Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil
I start my lessons with basic things (The present tense of the verb 'to be', personal pronouns, the gender of the nouns...), but I follow student's pronunciation all the time and I correct it. We always go step by step: First, you need the Present tense, for example, and after that the Accusative. I don't start teaching Locative until I am sure the Accusative is perfect, and the same is for each case or tense.
I follow the book with my students, but I also have a lot of extra exercises.
When my students make a mistake, I use 'Please, say it again' model until I get the right answer. The most important thing about grammar is training. You can't become Cristiano Ronaldo in one night. :)Mein Unterrichtsmaterial

Fabulous lesson! Jasmina spoke clearly and simply and was quite prepared to provide full answers to my random tricky questions about Serbian grammar. She has clearly had plenty of experience explaining the challenging aspects of Serbian, which makes the lesson very efficient. And it's rare to find someone who is at once so well versed in pedagogical methods and yet is also willing to let the student lead the lesson and focus on his needs. Thanks so much!
