I was born and raised in Norway. I enjoy spending time family and friends, going for walks and visiting new places. One day I would love to travel to Hawaii and Australia. I am taking piano lessons to become a better piano player and would like to record some of the songs I have written.
Ich als Lehrkraft
I have my teaching degree from Norway and worked as a teacher in Norway after I graduated from college. I also worked several years in the USA as a teacher teaching grades 1-3. Since 2012 I have worked as a Norwegian teacher at Madison College in Madison Wisconsin. I also teach Norwegian for the US Air Force online and do Norwegian tutoring in person and online.
Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil
I like to do a mixture of conversation, building vocabulary, reading, listening, writing and grammar. I incorporate Youtube videos and other Norwegian websites when it is applicable to what we are learning about. I encourage students to practice Norwegian as much as possible on their own in order to solidify the concepts we are learning in class.
It was very nice to get to know Lisbeth and I hope to have lessons with her in the future [emoji]

Wonderful first conversation lesson with Lisbeth. We talked in Norwegian the whole time and she was very helpful with speaking slowly and helping me when I got stuck.

I just finished my second lesson with Lisbeth, and I'm super happy I'm on my learning journey with her! I'm at an intermediate level and I like to dive into both grammar and spoken Norwegian, and she's been a fantastic teacher on both. Lisbeth is patient, explains concepts very well, and her lessons are well-structured. I'm looking forward to more!
