My name is Gillian and I was born and raised in London, making me a native British speaker. I lived in London most of my life and in recent years I have been travelling and teaching abroad full time. When I am not teaching, I fill my days with adventures, learning Spanish, and cooking amongst other things. I try to challenge myself and put myself out of my comfort zone. I have been learning to surf and it is so much fun. Some days it is tough, I fall, I fall, and I fall again. The big waves can be intimidating, but I am enjoying the journey! You can apply this to many things in life, including in your English learning journey. Have fun with it and it is totally OK to make mistakes.

I became a professional English teacher by completing an accredited TEFL certification program. I have experience teaching English in classrooms to adults, teenagers, and children in various countries around the world including Peru, Colombia, and Taiwan.
