I think I have always wanted to be a teacher because I like to share knowledge. Initially, I wanted to teach young children so I took Early Childhood Education courses at College. TEN YEARS of TEACHING EXPERIENCE, as a private tutor, helped me learn the value of humour. When children are entertained, they learn easily! Learning should be FUN!

As a teacher, I realize that different people require VARIED TEACHING STYLES. Completing a TESOL course helped build my ability in teaching methods. I make it a goal to help students remember what they learn. The communicative approach and word frequency are basics to my teaching style, but, word association, and visual aids, such as photographs, can really be helpful tools to use.
