I am Teacher Faith. I have been teaching English and Tagalog since 2015 and have great passion for teaching languages! I am very well-versed in business as well as financial management. Hello! As a teacher, I usually smile to make the students feel at ease with speaking because I also feel that way when speaking to other people. I love talking about anything such as social issues, movies, shopping, food as well as business related matter, etc. You name it, we can talk about it!

Meine Stunden und mein Unterrichtsstil

I usually have my free talk first as an assessment for those first timers, after which. I then provide Q&A / news articles / short exercises in grammar. I give a lot of examples to make words easier to understand. I also make sure to correct how these words/sentences are used by the students. My focus on vocabulary-building is such that the student will be able to more easily understand the language for the most commonly encountered situations.

The class has been very interesting. First we reviewed some exercises about the use of adjectives and about the description of what someone is wearing using "naka-" modifiers. Later we read 2 texts describing the personal information and appearance of 2 people, and we answered few comprehension questions related to these texts. On next class, as a general review of what we have learned so far, we will comment several exercises from the Lessons 1-5 of the "Elementary Tagalog Workbook". Thank you very much for preparing very well the contents of each class. See you next week!
